NATIONAL RESEARCH DATA INFRASTRUCTURE (NFDI)

The DAM is participating in the development of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI): The DAM is an integral part of the National Research Data Infrastructure for Earth System Research (NFDI4Earth). Within NFDI4Earth, it serves as a case study for heterogeneous and interdisciplinary data. Through its participation in the NFDI4Earth Academy, the DAM supports early-career researchers at the intersection of Earth system science and data science.

The “Unterwegs” research data project, the incorporation of HGF activities, and integration into the NFDI lay the groundwork for the tasks that the core division is expected to fulfill according to the administrative agreement and bylaws.
