DAM Working Group on Data Management and Digitalisation

Task

The task of the working group is to help shape the strategic and conceptual direction of German marine research in the field of data management and digitalisation. The working group members are data and/or digitalisation experts at one of the DAM member institutions. They evaluate planned and ongoing activities within the working group, develop proposals for new or further projects, and take responsibility for implementing approved measures in their institutions and in joint projects. In addition, the DAM working groups serve as ‘sounding boards’ that accompany the work of the respective core areas of the DAM. The results and recommendations generated by the working groups provide part of the requirements for the further development of the core areas.
